Team behind The Mill at Fountain Inn to open entertainment venue in Greer

Crafted Community Concepts, a company created in partnership between restauranteur and brewery owner Nate Tomforde and developer Bryan Beal, is working to open Trade Street Social, an entertainment venue in downtown Greer.

While Beal says the plans are very fluid, Crafted Community Concepts plans for the more than 6,000-square-foot building at 315 Trade St. to feature:

Trade Street Social is estimated to open in spring or summer 2024 and should offer a cocktail menu as well as some food and wine options, said Beal.

In addition to planning this concept, Crafted Community Concepts is also working with Vicinity Capital of Greenville to crowdfund the project.

"In a nutshell, everything we are doing, we are trying to keep this [funding and project] hyper-local," said Beal. "We want to do that across the board where we go. We love what Vicinity does. They’re going to help us drive some local dollars and get some people who live locally in the Greer area excited about something they can ultimately invest in with us."

Crafted Community Concepts has set a $750,000 goal and will keep its crowdfunding page open through June 14.

Outside of Greer, the company will open The Pardo Cafe on June 15 on Mill Street in downtown Inman. The eatery will feature a coffee menu, early evening light bites and appetizers, as well as beer and wine.

Crafted Community Concepts is also working on The Mill at Fountain Inn, a project to transform a former flour mill into a brewery and dining venue. Work on The Mill at Fountain Inn started in March 2023 and the project is projected to be completed by the end of the year.
