The new C-Series of Seco end mills promises to deliver flexibility, performance, and cost savings, allowing shops to tackle multiple machining applications with fewer tools. Featuring advanced Siron-A coating, this general-purpose solution offers up to 30 percent longer tool life.
Seco Tools has launched its new C-Series end mills, designed to provide flexibility and performance across a wide range of machining applications. The series allows shops to machine various materials without the need for frequent tool changes, making it an ideal solution for diverse manufacturing environments. The end mills come in square, ballnose, and chamfering geometries, highlighting the company’s dedication to quality while offering cost-saving benefits.
Available in 2-, 3-, and 4-flute configurations, the C-Series end mills deliver consistent results for traditional milling tasks, including roughing, finishing, side milling, copy milling, and slotting. Seco has targeted the new line for general-purpose use, making it well-suited for everyday machining needs.
“The new C-Series end mills enable shops to perform a wider variety of common milling strategies with a single family of tools,” said Rob Mulders, product manager for Seco. “The wide range of tools we offer in this series makes it easy for shops to select the best option for their unique part mix and equipment portfolio.”
Seco C-series end mills incorporate an advanced Siron-A coating that boosts general-purpose tool life by up to 30 percent. Siron-A coating is the first-choice universal coating for steels, cast iron and stainless steel materials. With one tool for general machining applications, shops can significantly reduce tooling inventories and costs, increase profitability, and remain competitive in the face of increasing pricing pressures.
Despite being a general-purpose tool series, the C-Series end mills maintain Seco’s high standards for process and quality control, offering reliability and predictable cutting performance for shops where extreme high-performance tools are not required.
